Below you will find a selection of images from races and training. Enjoy!
The cumlmination of 300 days of training. My first - and possibly last - Ironman in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. What a great experience.
A quick weekend race - treated like a quality workout - in Cobourg, Ontario. On an olympic distance event, with a windy bike leg, I still managed to grind out a sub-45 minute 10km run!
Mont Tremblant 70.3 was supposed to ONLY be a preview of the full course I would be racing in August. Instead, I pulled more than an hour off my PB for a 1/2 Iron Distance race.
The epic race of all epic races! If the 2600m of climbing on the course we're enough, it was 30 degrees (c) with 30-60 km/hr winds. Hated it. Loved it. Might go back again!
Pictures (embarrassing!) of me - at each stage of the build-up towards IM Mont Tremblant.
After 18 weeks of training, back in to get re-assessed on Body Composition, Resting Metaboilic Rate, and fitness levels (heart rate ranges and VO2max - cycling and running)
Images from the Fitness Assessment at AIM on November 1st and 2nd, 2011.
A selection of images from the 8 years I have participated in the Subaru Triathlon Series of events.
My two kids (and some friends) participating in the Kids of Steel and Fun Run events over the last few years.
A few images from the Ottawa, Toronto ScotiaBank and Boston Marathons, and the winter training runs that go into making those spring marathons possible!
